Yes, this would work - how many will depend on the size of your tables. Each roll is 47" by 25'.

  • Q:

Can this be used to cover tables at my party. Main table is rectangle and is fitting 30 guest. Others are squared for 4. How many do i need. What size?
Asked on 4/1/2016 by c from delaware

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

These are almost 4' wide - would depend how wide your tables are and how much hang off you want. For the main table, 1 roll should be sufficient if the table is less than 25 feet long. For the square tables, it would depend how many tables are going to be covered and their size as well.

  • Q:

Is one roll good enough to make a 8x10 step and repeat Backdrop? Also would this be glare free when taking photos?

      A:

To be safe, you may need 2 rolls. It is shiny so depending on lighting or a flash, there may be a glare

    • A:

It may not be recommended but I have used it more than 10 years for creating walkways for dances. It seems to be fairly resistant to heel punctures from ladies' high heels and the shine is incredible. I am usually taping it to carpet with clear duct tape. I've never had a problem. As a matter of fact, I'm ordering it now for that same purpose.

  • Q:

Can I hot glue this item to 4mm foam? If not, what glue is good to use with this item
    Asked on 1/8/2013 by Trish

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

Because this is a metallic texturized paper we do not suggest using hot glue. Regular craft glue is recommended.

I'm a music teacher and always use the cracked ice paper IN ALL COLORS for our themed backdrops. It looks absolutely beautiful on the stage- also it's strong and can be hot glued, stapled, etc. and it'll stay together!

Create your own Sparkly Pennant Strings!

      By Cost-conscious Claudia

      from Chicago, IL

      Pros

      • Easy -to-use
      • High-impact
      • Sparkly

      Cons

        Best Uses

        • Background
        • Pennant flags

        Comments:

To decorate a ceiling with incredible impact, we cut 20 lengths of inexpensive white mason line (available at hardware stores) the width of our room, and stapled 6" by 15" triangular pennant flags in alternating colors of blue and gold cracked ice to it at 18" intervals. Between the flags at 6" intervals we attached 1" wide alternating blue and gold mylar ribbon cut to 12" segments, which were folded in half into upside down slight "v"s over the mason line and stapled. Cracked ice is easy to measure and cut using a craft knife, cork-backed steel ruler and plastic cutting mat. Each string of pennants was strung overhead across the room at 36" intervals. Our graduation event was school- spirit themed, and our colors blazed above!
